I fitted the Michelin Power Cup Competition 700×25 C to my road bike and the first impression was a super smooth roll and sharp cornering feel, thanks to the Gum-X compound and high-TPI carcass. The tyre feels very race-ready, yet not overly harsh for training rides. I ran it at around 6.5 bar front / 7 bar rear (near the upper end of the recommended 5-8 bar range) and achieved a good balance of speed + comfort.

Used the 25c version for a few winter outings, on the flat and in the mountains...in dry, humid weather and even on wet snow: Great impression from the start, not too much difficulty during assembly, and the tire is comfortable with an impression of good performance (not that this is a real measurement because I do not have a power sensor.). The grip seems to me to be much better than the previous Conti gp 40… tire, which had a tendency to suddenly stall in wet weather when cornering. Otherwise no punctures, the roads in winter are not very clean and even quite damaged in places in the mountains, some of my laps go over speed bumps going downhill, so that's a rather good sign, but the number of km traveled is not sufficient to conclude that it is solid. So very satisfied overall without having any long-term return.

It's 25-622. I ordered from this listing and was sent a tube type tire not a tubular. Just be aware this tire has a very narrow tread so works better with a narrow internal width rim, I use them on an old set of Mavic's with a 17mm internal width. I think using the 25c on a 23mm internal or larger could cause issues with riding on the sidewall in turns.

I would like to know if this tire is more resistant on the sides compared to the GP5000? (these last ones broke quickly on the side walls) Additionally, what is the real width of a 700x23 tire? Since I have seen that the 700x25c actually gives 28 mm.

I have never had a problem with the sidewalls of the Michelins. I´ve been riding the power cups for 1 year and no punctures, before the power road and pro3 race. No problem with the sides. As for the width, I ride 25mm and with rims with an internal width of 19mm they measure 29mm and dust. The 23mm should therefore give a width of 25-26mm.
