Ideal for both dedicated Road Cycling and adventurous gravel riding, these levers are the perfect control center for your 1x9 setup.

MICROSHIFT believes that entry-level gravel bikes deserve the same thoughtful design and specific drivetrains as top-tier models. The SWORD BLACK group embodies this philosophy, offering a complete range of functional products that deliver an exceptional quality-to-price ratio. This group includes robust derailleurs and, critically, these shifters and brakes, which feature user-friendly ergonomics specifically tailored for the flared handlebars common in modern gravel cycling. As MICROSHIFT´s most popular and accessible groupset to date, SWORD BLACK provides a clear and affordable upgrade path for any rider looking for reliable Shifters and brakes.

Experience superior control and comfort on long rides, whether you´re on the hoods or in the drops. The lever shape is optimized for flared gravel handlebars, providing a natural hand position that reduces fatigue and improves handling on rough surfaces. Maintain a confident and secure grip in any condition; the silicone-padded lever contact points and textured hood covers ensure maximum control and tactile feedback, even with gloves or in wet weather.

Achieve a clean, modern aesthetic for your bike with streamlined internal cable routing. Paired with compatibility for reliable and powerful mechanical disc brakes, this set provides consistent stopping power you can count on when descending steep gravel roads. Enjoy the simplicity and reliability of a 1x drivetrain. The right lever handles all nine gears with crisp, precise shifts, while the left lever is a dedicated brake-only unit, offering a clean, uncluttered cockpit and intuitive operation.

Whether you´re building a new gravel machine from the ground up or upgrading your current all-road bike, the MICROSHIFT SWORD BLACK 1x9s lever set offers an unbeatable combination of modern ergonomics, reliable performance, and incredible value.
