I used Continental tyres for many years before Pirelli came on the scene, these are excellent tyres with good grip and wear resistance. For a 'race' tyre they are very puncture resistant too. I've picked many little stones out of the carcass, but they hardly ever get through the puncture prevention layer. Recommended!
