Renthal Fatbar 35 50 mm handlebar

The specification is slightly different to a current Fatbar®, as the width on these bars has been increased to 820mm and the back sweep is 9 degrees (Upsweep 5 degrees). We have seen a definite trend swing towards higher rise bars and we are introducing these new shapes to cater to this new demand.

From our market research, there are three distinct groups that have requested these products:
- Tall riders: We used Rob Warner (Elite Downhill racer and UCI World Cup winner, Height: 1,77 m/5´10´´) as part of our test team and he described the bars as a “game changer”0
- eBike riders: With less need for an efficient pedalling position and the desire for more comfort, these bars are ideally suited. This was a key driver behind increasing the back sweep from 7 degrees to 9 degrees and offering an increased width of 820mm.
- Dirt jump and new-school jib-kids: We have a group of test riders within this niche and all of them choose to ride this handlebar now.
