The ergonomic evolution of the Ritchey handlebar continues with the groundbreaking WCS Beacon.

How is this width measured, centre to centre or outside to outside ? Thanks

I can't say for certain, as I no longer have those bars. The industry standard is outside to outside, but... I can say they were the best bars I've used for gravel, and the shallow drop ,allowed me to use the drop ,much more than my Curve Walmer bars.

From the middle to the middle of the upper part of the handlebar at its widest point. The gear levers are angled outwards in a somewhat unusual way. On the one hand, this gives a good grip but is a little harder to shift in difficult terrain - unless you have an electric gearshift - in which case it could actually be an advantage. The wide 31.8mm on the upper tube are bulky but you can mount a lot. I´m happy with the part, I mounted it on a Ghost Gravel! Aha, the Italian 8 is a little harder to get right, the handlebars have an unusual angle in that place.
