I bought the Rotor bolts for the chaining, simply as the were reduced/on offer. Also the bolts previously on my x 1 GRX had been on the bike for 3 years. The shimano GRX in my view would fit as the ring fitted - but I didn't look/try; just got the new ring on and rode.

Crowns x1 are only for use as a single Crown, you cannot use it together with a smaller crown.

This is a 1x specific chainring, it can not be used as a double. The chainline is offset to the left and the narrow-wide tooth profile will not allow the chain to shift. Rotor does make 2x Version of this chainring for 11s and 12s Shimano or SRAM.

This is a 1x chainring and is not compatible with a 2x setup with a second chainring up front. The alignment with this chainring is set slightly inward to match up across the entire range of gears in your rear cassette.

I used Shimano FC-M785 chainring bolts, they work perfectly without spacers. But you can use many 1x bolts or spacers.

Yes, this updated version is compatible with all 12s chains. I am running it with Ultegra R8100 and it works well. Note that the picture is still not correct. The updated version is shown in the 360° view.

I have this chainring paired with a Shimano R8000 crank and RX805 Rear Derailleur, and it works well. The manufacturer's website indicates it is "also a great 1x solution for most Shimano cranksets," so I don't think there's any reason it won't work with the GRX 810. Be sure you also purchase the correct chainring bolts for your crankset as none are included with the chainring.
