I ordered these tires in 50-559 for my Surly Big Dummy cargo bike. They were installed just prior to a snow event and performed well. Soft rubber provides decent traction when roads are wet or snowy but certainly are not a replacement for studded tires. My region only gets snow a few days out of the year so these are sufficient for my needs.
