I find the saddle very comfortable; I use it on two mountain bikes and have no complaints. Lower back pain is greatly reduced, and the quality is very good. I've had one of them for over four years, and only a little paint has worn off in the area that rubs most against my buttocks, but it's barely noticeable.

I used one of these on two different bikes (one hybrid, one road) for many thousands of miles from 2016, including a 3-day ride from London to Paris. I had no real issues during that time. In 2023 it finally wore out and I took the opportunity to go to a much lighter carbon 3-D printed saddle. After 6 months with that I've now bought a second Selle SMP Extra. Yes, they are a bit on the heavy side, but its worth it for the comfort - just have a lighter breakfast to compensate!

I’ve not yet ridden enough miles on it to give the saddle a full review but as it stands the curved design is quite a bit more comfortable than a “normal” saddle. It does still feel a tad “hard” but it will soften up the more that I use it.
