There are three types (colors): SH10/11 and 12 (yellow, red and blue). The difference is in the flexibility. yellow: 6 degrees of flow, free movement up and down, left and right. blue: 2 degrees of flow, a little more flexibility. red: 0 degrees of flow, stiff, the foot is fixed. Shimano is a great company and you don´t have to think much about the consumables.
