Assuming it is a replacement it should have the old axle. Measure the length of the old shaft and buy one that is equal to or just above it. The length of the axle determines how far the crankset sits from the frame. In practical terms, the difference between the 107 mm and 127 mm axle translates into an increase in the distance between the crankset and the frame of 10 mm on each side. It is a low value and does not translate into a big difference for the cyclist and will always be preferable to risking having the pedals hitting the frame.

The 70 mm measurement is strange. Note that it must be measured between the bases of the thread excluding the edge that is outside the frame. A small error can make 70mm match the standard 68mm. Hi, the type of groupies doesn´t say anything about the length of your bottom Bracket. The diameter and correct length are engraved on the side of the bottom Bracket. To get the correct bottom bracket the best way forward is to disassemble the bottom bracket. This is an easy fix if you have the right tools and are a little bit technical skilled. Within 10 to 15 minutes you will be able to order the correct spare part without risking damage to your bike.
