Now, with the new MULTIPLE CHANGE, the change of two pinions can be made with a single lever operation. The result: the fastest possible change in both directions regardless of the choice of the rear derailleur.

- 2WAY-RELEASE, The drive lever of the RAPIDFIRE PLUS diverters is usually called a trigger, because it works like a gun, by pressing the trigger. My decision to purchase the XT setup was based on the ability to adjust/repair clutch if need be. I really like that with the Shimano shifter you have the ability to make multiple downshifts into higher gears with one long single press of the paddle where with Sram each gear requires one press of paddle.

Hi, this model is specific for those who have Shimano brakes and attaches to Shimano XT or SLX brakes (I have SLX). It comes with a screw and a nut that attach to the recess in the Shimano brake band. This model cannot be attached directly to the handlebars.
