The compact and light AIRSPY tyre pressure sensor from SKS provides bikers with the certainty that they are riding with optimal pressure. Simply twist the valve adapter onto the valve, push the sensor onto it and off you go. When it has been mounted, the dustproof and watertight sensor permanently measures the tyre pressure. The air pressure sensor uses Bluetooth or ANT+ to transmit the precise real-time data to a compatible bike computer (GARMIN) or to smartphones that have had the SKS MYBIKE app installed on them. Not only does the app display the current air pressure but also the temperature and the battery level of the sensor. The inconspicuous air spy sounds an alarm should pressure deviations be detected. The AIRSPY can also be used as a mobile digital gauge so that the tyre pressure can be digitally measured each time the tyres are inflated. It can´t be simpler!The AIRSPY is available as a set for the front and the rear wheels. It is suitable for use with all AV/SV valves and most Dunlop valves, in addition to tubeless tyres. Includes a CR2032 button cell and U-locks in various lengths.

Had initial issues with one of the sensor not getting any pressure reading but when I tested it with the spare it seems to work. You will know it is working when you place the valve attachment on a slightly inflated tire and the air leaks out before you place the sensor. When you are not moving it will seem hard to connect to the sensor but once you are already moving then connection is ok.

I have now bought two sets of these for use on my tubeless tyres. They are fantastic for not only being able to keep an eye on pressures whilst riding but also for accurately checking pressures whilst inflating. For checking accurate optimum tyre pressures ‘on the fly’, they are also invaluable. Unfortunately they don’t get recognised by wahoo (yet) but work well with iPhone app. Hopefully wahoo will update ,in the future though. These are sold as a pair.

It works perfectly well with the app and my Garmin meter. Instant reply from customer service when I encountered pairing difficulty with my Garmin. I think many new users stuck at pairing, the tip is to enter the serial number of each units in the AirSpy app in Gamin Connect.

Data visibility on Garmin edge

I downloaded the Airspy data field to Garmin Edge but when I open the screen I am getting an error. I thought the Airspy would connect directly to my Garmin but on further reading, my understanding is that my Garmin needs to be connected app on my phone which is connected to the sensor. Can someone clarify please. Thanks in advance.

go to the iconnect app and in the sensor data field settings. and configure by entering the sensor code on the bike and the operating pressure and the pressure deviation you want to trigger the alarm. You can configure up to 4 bikes.

Yes - download the SKS AIRSPY app from the connect iq store, add the field on your Garmin and you’re away. The connect app works flawlessly and parameters can be set using the Airspy mobile app to give an audible alarm on your head unit if tyre pressure falls below your preferred level.

Hi, Is this compatible with presta valves? And if so does it fasten onto the existing valve or do you need to remove the valve core to fit this?

These do indeed work with presto valves. The existing core is left in place in the fully open position. I have a set of these on both road and gravel bikes I’m running tubeless.

Yes, this is the version for SCLAVERAND (SV) / PRESTA. Make sure you order this version and not the SCHRADER (AV) / DUNLOP version. It is screwed onto the existing valve without removing the valve core.

Yes they are compatible. For presta is the AV model. You don’t need to take out the core, just open it and screw the Airspy. They are reliable and long lasting. I have them in both of my mountain bikes. Enjoy.

Yes this is compatible with presta valve. You will just place this on top of the existing. BUT PREPARE FOR A TIRE PUMP! When you fit this on the bike first time, you will deflate the tire. It is because you need to open the cap of the existing presta, keep it open inside the tire monitor. Pressing it down will release the air inside the tire. It has instructions inside the box
