A USB or Ethernet cable will fit snugly into the hole in the crank arm if the axle is 9/16-inch. Simply measure the diameter of the threaded hole with a tool. For 9/16-inch, it should be 0.56 inches (1.43 cm), for 1/2-inch, it should be 0.5 inches (1.27 cm).
