Correct. There is a tab at the base of the old boa attachment (this one is fixed) you press it and the old boa comes out and you just have to put the new boa in. Be careful if it is on the left or right side. Because they turn to one side or the other. And also be careful that the new boa, the cable comes with a loop in the shape of a figure 8. You take those loops out and then the wheel turns normally.
