If I buy two parts, are they compatible with the rear and front wheel or do I have to buy another specific product on the website?

You can use an Avid BB7 either front or rear, BB7 is not designed for a specific wheel. What is included with purchase is an Avid BB7 brake caliper, and screws to be able to mount it either front or rear. I assume that you are aware of everything else you need since the Avid BB7 is a mechanical brake, i.e. the braking force is via brake cable. It is therefore not a hydraulic (oil/mineral oil) brake.

Hello. No, there is no rotor (brake disc) included. What is included is a brake caliper, brake pads (mounted), two screws + spacers (fixed to the brake caliper with a tiny rubber band), "safety instructions" with QR code for an online manual and "Extent of limited warranty" information sheet. You can use the SRAM Avid BB7 on either the front or rear wheel, it is neutral in terms of placement front or rear. Please note that it is a mechanical brake, i.e. cable, not oil in a hose like hydraulic brakes have. If you buy the SRAM Avid BB7, you will need an adapter for a rotor larger than 160mm, cable, cable housing and brake lever. Adapter for 180mm, or larger, is recommended from SRAM for compatibility reasons.

Can anyone suggest any cable housing for this one? I want to replace the caliper on my cheap ebike.

Any linear cable will work. I use Shimano SP51 outer cable. It's actually labelled as I oversize gear cable but it's superb as brake outer.

I use Capgo cable house (outer diameter 5mm), with Jagwire cable. The rear brake has a longer cable house and wire than the front brake, measure with a tape measure if you are unsure.
