Good afternoon, I just received the Sram wear meter, I have checked the condition of my 12v XX1 Gold chain and indeed the 0.8 indicator fits completely into the link, what I don´t understand is that with the new XX1 Gold chain a Brand new also fits completely. Is this meter compatible with any 12v Sram chain? Or is it for new Sram SL chains with a flat face? Thank you

This gauge is compatible with all SRAM 12-speed chains. Measure exactly as in the attached video in several places on a preferably clean chain. I have it, I use it and I think it is a good tool.
