I usually buy the next level XO chains but availability was not good so I went for this, time will tell if it lasts as well as the XO albeit heavier. So far shifts are smooth and it's holding up well but time will tell. Overall good value and great price from Bikeinn

Trial vs original X0 PVD Chain

I was advised by a qualified bike technician to change the chain at 0.5mm rather than the 0.75mm to maximise the life of the cassette and chain ring. The X0 PVD chain was not available at the time so I sourced this one to try out. Time will tell as to whether it is more cost effective vs. the original. The original lasted 1600km on my eMTB before replacement.

This is the genuine chain for SRAM AXS drivetrains. Replace your chain no later than 0.5mm wear. Hang the old and new chains from one nail, should be not more than half a link longer at 100 links. If it is you will probably need a new cassette. If it is a whole link longer then definitely and probably a front chainring too. Do the more expensive SRAM chains last longer? Jury is out but I want to be sure before stumping up.

To help out 1 day but not long because the T chain is narrower (a T link cannot clip onto a classic 12v Sram chain)

T thinner type A quick link cannot be put on an old AXS chain To troubleshoot the chain can pass but I would not do it outside of troubleshooting

Hello . In principle, the t-type chain, being flattop and narrower, only makes it compatible with the new eagle t-type groups. It should not be as fine as with the groups for which it is designed, nor does it make much sense to mount this chain on eagle groups that are not t-type since it is almost twice as expensive and its compatibility is yet to be tested since since sram clearly states that they are only compatible with non-previous eagle t-type groupsets.
