For anyone who will not accept compromises on the trail. The SRAM X01 Eagle™ DUB™ crank can only reach its full potential when things get really rough. It combines excellent stiffness with a low weight and high strength.
Thanks to a DirectMount chainring with the proven SRAM X-SYNC 2™ technology, it even holds the chain in position under extreme conditions.
The special Eagle™ geometry of the chainring teeth does not just offer increased chain tension, but also reduces wear and friction, as well as annoying chain noises.
The SRAM DUB™ technology combines an excellent bottom bracket design with a completely revised crank spindle with a diameter of 28.99 mm.
Thus, DUB™ guarantees improved protection against moisture and dirt as well as forward and backward compatibility with all common bottom bracket standards available on the market.

Amazingly good looking crankset, very tough and even looking very stiff. Appreciate invisible layer of protection on the body of crankset (even it could be covered fully not only part) and like, that rubber boots/protectors are included. Even pictures all over the Internet are showing crankset looking more grey, in real they are almost black definitely not grey. Very very very dark grey almost black.

The X01 weighs 30 g more than the XX1's and is 35% cheaper (as XX1 never is discounted as much). It is also more robust, but importantly much cheaper. Although it is delivered with a 32t ring VS 34t on the XX1, but I'm running oval AbsBlk rings anyway. The crank is crazy stiff compared to alu GX, so much so that landing jumps and riding rough stuff is much more punishing. On the plus side, power transfer is similarly better.

Carbon cranks only 50g heavier than the XX1 and in my case I have paid 120 Euros less. It's worth it, they also have a built-in crank protector.

YES, it is. I have purchased this BOOST cranks X01 and I keep buying “ Sram DUB PressFit 30 MTB 89/92mm” Bottom Bracket. You just won’t use any plastic spacer, which is included in BB. Only what you have watch out is, to buy only BOOST cranks, not BOOST WIDE, because those are few mm wider than BOOST.

It definitely uses 3 screws for mounting chainring to crank-arm. It’s compatible with wattmeters those glued on arms of cranks or built-in with-in pedals. SRAM has also version with factory built-in wattmeter in cranks, but I’m nit sure how many screws uses that type for mounting chainring (4 or 5).

However I found SRAM system more reliable comparing to Shimano. Been riding Shimano XTR and XT for 12 years, now riding SRAM for 2 years and would never come back to Shimano. Only brakes. But mixing componenets of these two brands works with no issue for many people. This will definitely work for you.

Hi Pascal, if you currently have a SRAM Eagle system on your Stumpjumper it wil fit for sure. I have swapped the aluminium Truvativ crankset on my Stumpjumper for the carbon X01 cranks and couldn’t be happier. Very lightweight and sturdy. I have had lots of pedalstrikes on rocks and roots, but the cranks hold up great.
Is it possible to receive the x01 crankset with a 34-tooth chainring instead of 32 as proposed?

The cranks come with the 32 chainring, you can´t ask for another. What you can do is buy the dish you need separately.

Hi I want to change the crank lengths and upgrade them, I have a trek supercaliber 9.8 GX AXS 2020 xc. I would like to replace the stock cranks (think this is it Truvativ Stylo Carbon Eagle, DUB, 32T alloy ring, Boost (52mm chainline),175mm With a sram xo1 170mm, I use an absolute black oval direct mount so I don’t really need the chain ring, can you link me with what I need to order please

Hello, for the length of the cranks it depends on the size of the mountain bike. If the mountain bike is size S or M the crank measures 170mn, L or XL measures 175. Afterwards I invite you to read the various articles on the internet concerning the sizes of mountain bikes, cranks. A mountain bike in the right size, well adjusted to your height, will prevent you from back problems, cervical problems, tendinitis etc etc etc. Regards.

Hello, the axis of the super boost is 3mm longer than the classic boost. Some frames use super boost (for example the scott scale, the one with integrated shock).
