Hello, 7 s means 7 speed, that is 7 speeds. This is the right bike handle controlling the rear sprocket. 3 s is the left handle of the bike and controls the change of the 3 front chainrings of the crankset. These are reliable and very affordable handles in terms of price. The finish of the plastics is of course inferior to the high-end handles, but much more expensive.
