Stabilizing Ankle Brace for Moderate to Severe Sprains

The Boa® Thuasne Sport Ankle Brace provides stabilization for moderate to severe ankle sprains or tendinopathy. It is designed to prevent ankle instability during sports such as basketball, handball, and volleyball. This rigid sports brace features a textile base that wraps around the ankle, removable lateral reinforcements for added rigidity, and two elastic straps for enhanced support. The Boa® Fit System ensures quick and secure application. Its slim design fits comfortably in closed sports shoes.

Indications
Significant ankle support.
Moderate to severe ankle sprains.
Prevention of chronic ankle laxity/instability during sports recovery.
Tendinopathy treatment.
Conservative treatment of Achilles tendon injuries.
Simple to Use
Slide your foot into the brace, ensuring the heel rests in the designated area.
Tighten using the Boa® Fit System:
Press the dial until it clicks.
Turn clockwise until desired support is achieved.
Cross the straps over the top of the foot, wrap around the ankle, cross again behind, and secure.
To release: Pull the dial until it clicks, loosening the laces.
Recommendation:

Wear the brace inside closed sports shoes during physical activity.
Use it overnight to limit sudden movements and provide additional protection.

Sizes
Available in three sizes: S, M, and L. Use the size guide to select based on ankle circumference measured above the malleolus.

Sizing Tip: If between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort and fit.

Bilateral Design: Fits both left and right ankles.

Additional Information
Composition: Polyamide, polyester, neoprene, elastane, polyurethane, stainless steel.

Care Instructions:

Machine wash at 40°C.
Remove lateral reinforcements before washing and reinsert afterward.
Close hook-and-loop fasteners and tighten the Boa® system before washing. Use a washing bag if possible.
Air dry away from heat sources.

Other Guidelines:

Do not use in direct contact with greasy substances (ointments, creams).

Always wear with a high sock for added comfort.
If the brace contacts water, remove lateral reinforcements and ensure proper drying of textile parts. Wipe reinforcements with a dry cloth.

Do not use in case of known allergies to any components.
Not suitable for individuals with a history of venous or lymphatic disorders.
