This bracket can only be attached to the stem, not to the handlebar. A suitable stem is required for this. The upper screw in the stem is removed, as is the cap there. The cap and screw are then replaced with the bracket provided.

Diese Halterung kann nur am Vorbau befestigt werden, nicht am Lenker. Dazu ist ein geeigneter Vorbau notwendig. Die obere Schraube im Vorbau wird entfernt, ebenso die dort vorhandene Kappe. Anschliessend wird die Kappe und Schraube mit der mitgelieferten Halterung ersetzt.

It is annoying when you order a product and then find that a crucial part is missing or has to be purchased separately.
