Easy to install, it might take a few attempts to center it but you'll get there. The tiny bolts could have been bigger. I love the rails helping to adjust the right angle. I wouldn't put something heavier than the limit. I bought it solely for placing my ebike kit 80A controller which is huge.

I´d like to know if anyone has used this rack for trips with panniers and more weight. Due to the more intense wind terrain, a rear rack would be necessary. I´ve traveled quite a bit with a mountain bike and a regular rack plus panniers. Lately, I´ve been using bikepacking and gravel riding. I´m researching to see if I can add one to the rear to complement the trip.

Hi. I´ve used it for several long trips (the Camino de Santiago and others) and it´s been great. I´ve used it with the Topeak Trunkbag DPX pannier and it´s worked very well together. I usually do these kinds of trips on a hardtail mountain bike.

I highly recommend it. The product is very robust and easy to install; it served its purpose perfectly. Combined with the MTX Trunkbag EXP 2.0, the 3-day, approximately 200km trip on an e-MTB bike was perfect. Due to the more rugged trails, we opted not to use panniers to provide more stability to the bike.

I don´t think the side carriers are absolutely necessary because the Topeak bag has an elastic band at the bottom that can be attached to the back of the bike.

I have this rack and don’t use side frame as the built in pannier bags with the MTX trunk bag work fine I hope this helps

Hello, I´d like to purchase the Topeak Tetrarack M2. According to the product description, the seat stays should be between 95 and 125 mm apart. My bike measures 115 mm at the top and 150 mm at the bottom (I think these are fairly common measurements for electric and full-suspension bikes). My question is, has anyone with these measurements built one? Thank you very much.

I use a 29" MTB with 2.35" tires. It fits with a separation between 95 and 125mm. All very well. It will definitely fit your Electric Bike. Good luck there.

No real difference in attachment or loading weight. The advantage of the long luggage rack (in my opinion) is rather when you have big feet, it prevents the heel from hitting the panniers because they are placed further back.

Hi there, following the product description, this is not recommended for carbon seatstays as when you tight the straps it could crack the carbon. The problem is not the kilos you can carry (9kg following the manufacturer info) is the pressure needed to tight the straps.
