Purchased for gravel riding because I use flat pedals and my feet was getting frozen with my other flat pedals cycling shoes. First things first after my first wear of these with merino socks at just below 0c temperature my feet were toasty warm so they did what I got them for. I ordered a full size up , I'm a UK 6.5(40 EU) with fairly high volume feet(area above foot arch) so suffer from all cycling shoes being built for people with flat duck like feet so got these in UK 7.5(41 EU) which are slightly longish on me but allows for doubling up socks if need be. Sole is stiff with plenty of grip and the outer material seems like it will be robust but only time will tell on that matter, not tried the waterproof capabilities yet . Boa laces work fine . Costly items even on the sale price here but if they last years when used throughout the colder months riding in comfort they will be worth it.

I ordered the shoe in size 48. I normally wear size 47. It fits perfectly. It's really warm and keeps your feet dry. The sole and profile give you really good grip on the pedals (Oneup).

Where most people stay at home, those who have these shoes can just keep driving. No weather comes through! Cold, rain, wind - just stay outside. Perfect shoes for “extreme” bike weather. At most, desire can stop you, but your shoes can handle anything. Feels a little tight at first, but doesn't press. You slide in without resistance and then they fit like a glove. Little to no room for maneuver, which makes them even suitable for off-road use. I wear them on the trail in winter, but also for shopping trips. Feet are always warm and dry! Very good! You have to get used to the material while running as they are a bit stiff at first. But it comes all by itself. If you are faced with harsh weather in winter, this shoe is a good choice. But they are also very easy to wear all year round in heavy rain.

Gave these their first outing this morning. A good looking well made comfortable shoe. My feet stayed warm where as I normally suffer from cold feet. I would have given 5 stars but for one small niggle. The lacing system allows the boot to open up well BUT the tongue has very little leeway and it’s a bit of a wriggle to get feet with high insteps in.

Shoes just arrived. At first glance the good quality is visible. Comfortable. Normally I wear size 44 but purchased 45 and it was a good choice. Some space left for socks.
