I replaced the original XR2 with Barzo on the back and one thing I can say is that it really does the job. It transfers power perfectly to the ground without losing grip. It can slide on slippery roots but when it hits needles or sand it bites the ground nicely. The first combination is perfect on mixed terrain and the second when there is some mud, they work great. Previously MEZCAL 29`` X 2.25 G 2.0 Tubeless front and a slightly different driving feel... but it bites beautifully into the terrain as well as into the edges at a sharp angle. On asphalt it goes smoothly like MEZCAL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, VERY GOOD TIRES.

Looks great and feels great. The only disadvantage is when you ride on bricks positioned vertically then it looses contact. So if you ride on flat surfaces better get a Mezcal. As an offroad tyre it´s just great. There is no way you can loose grip with these.

I have debuted a set of Vittoria Barzo front and Mezcal rear wheels in the 19th edition of the Guzmán el Bueno 2024 under very bad rain and mud conditions. Despite not being specific wheels for such conditions, I have been extremely satisfied with their behavior.
