It depends on what you call high pressure: above 6 bar I doubt that it does much more than cover pores, and on the other hand, taking into account that one of the greatest advantages of latex chambers is their lightness, at the moment in which sealant is added this is lost. Also, it is likely that as it dries around the tube (and being a more porous material, it will dry faster than a normal butyl tube), you will lose a bit of that flexibility of the tube that makes it have such low rolling resistance. Now, up to 5-6 bars will seal small punctures with no problem. However, I would find it very useful in butyl tubes (the usual ones), even in ultralight ones made of the same material, which are simply much thinner. In plastic (TPU) I have no idea if they could work or not. All the best
