This is a perfectly good seat post, and works with a Selle SMP saddle, some won´t. The only thing I would recommend is going lighter than heavier with the rated spring strength, nobody ever rides with their entire body weight on the saddle.

Seat post arrived quickly, well packaged and on time. Unpacked, adjusted and mounted on the bike without any problems. The first test drive showed a significant relief of the strain on the back, especially on poor roads. The damping doesn't seem unsettling. Good decision on my part.

Excellent product, saddle assembly as per standard even following the instructions only in English. I'm thinking of purchasing the 85/100kg intermediate spring, unfortunately not sold by Bike Inn, as being close to 100kg, I find that the internal adjustment is too much at the lower limit and doesn't allow for very noticeable cushioning of the saddle. Very careful shipping and packaging. Delivery times respected, even if it happened on the weekend.

unaccustomed to this type of seatpost, I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort provided for hiking. I took 100-120 because at the limit of 100 with a spring adjustment we manage to find the point of balance between firmness and too much flexibility. Small critical point the assembly of the saddle where a screw is not easily accessible even if they have added a wheel...no particular problems with the assembly.

Bikeinn had the best price in EU, trackable, cheap post, Seatpost works fine so far. No noise, no side-to-side motion, parallelogram mechanic seems sturdy. Not instructed, but i did put some grease on seatpost head assembly, where top bit rests on bottom, so it can sligthly move and release tension under pressure - there are reports it can break if overtightend, grease there is also common precaution. Bought the 100-120 for being just over a 100, and it feels a bit a hard, and not easy to come by converting springs. Luckily, this product runs under several other names, so both Ergotec and M-wave are selling springs separate. Bikeinn currently (21.09.17) does not stock the black spring (85-100kg) for "parallelogram seatpost MIGHTY 252170, 1 + M-WAVE 252180, 1, 2" (https://www.bikeinn.com/bike/m-wave-fourspring-converting-spring/137641693/p?tqw=70%20kg). You may also look for the PM-705N springs by Ergotec. Very good upgrade for your riding comfort!

I am very happy with the price/performance ratio. Fits perfectly and has good springs. I should have bought them a lot sooner. You can also adjust them a little. If they squeak a little, a little grease helps. Recommended!!!!

Yoy won't be able to move it by hand it's rather tight and if it's still too hard after installing it the spring is too strong and you'll need to get a different one. Spring changes easily enough and they're available from different vendors. For example I purchased the wrong load seatpost by accident and needed a lighter spring and ordered a 85kg spring online.

Myself and my luggage (backpack) will be 115 to 120 kg, I have adjusted the suspension for maximum comfort, this is OK for me (this in combination with slightly less tire pressure.)

Try to unscrew as much as possible, to the minus. If it is still to strong you can change the spring for another with smaller weight interval.

Hello, yes you have to adjust the intensity of the spring inside the seat post. Personally I put it on the minimum, or 100 kilos and it works well.

Hello I just bought an xlc sp07 seat tube I adjusted the preload I tried everything lubricated the part which should not move a single movement I don´t understand why I removed the 4 locking screws then the 4 other screws No movement it was following a back operation brief for the moment no movement

The seat post adjustment is on the inside of the tube, the 4 screws ensure that the seat post remains one piece. the screw at the bottom of the tube must be turned. Control is limited to the working area, chosen at the time of purchase.
