Very light and soft. Worn under down jacket without hood on cold/windy dat and it was great. Much better than hooded sweatshirt and much more comfortable. Hood is great as it is not a "helmet hood" and seals nicely around face. Vest zips up like turtleneck. Runs a little big but not bad. I'm 5'9 170 and Medium was good. A little long but nothing terrible. In general - great purchase.

Really nice terrex gilet. Nice quality and very lightweight for the autumn weather. Big pockets for carrying plenty of things. My only surprise about this item was that I am normally a large and sometimes even an extra large but in this instance I had to return both an order in medium because this item seems to run very large. Hence a word of warning to any prospective buyers you definitely need consider whether to size down. Overall very pleased with it.
