Third pair of terrex

I bought the Adidas Terrex AX4 Goretex because I've already had two other pairs; the previous two pairs were the Terrex Swift R2 Goretex. Compared to Terrex Swift R2 Goretex the AX4 are lighter and fit slightly smaller (I have the 47 1/3 of Swift R2 and 46 3/4 of AX4). This is because the AX4 compared to the R2 are much less rigid and less padded, and in my opinion the materials are slightly less performing. In short, the Ax4s are more walking shoes than trekking shoes, lacking the rigid structure that supports the Swift R2 very well, and which places them in first place for performance. Previously I was a Salomon fanatic, and I appreciate performance and comfort, even if the Salomon's dynema laces cut through the goretex where it rubs the most; and this is why I decided to try the Terrex. In any case, the AX4s are very beautiful aesthetically, even if I must say that on the other hand they have a slightly too "rubbery" and bouncy wheelbase. No more salomons, anyway, and full speed ahead with the adidas terrex, of which I'm sure I'll buy other pairs. Rated 7/10 for performance, 10/10 for beauty.
