In the sole unit, the legendary Traxion outsole, made of Continental™ compound rubber, provides phenomenal grip on steep terrain no matter how wet or difficult to get through. Thanks to a lightweight, soft EVA midsole, cushioning is of paramount importance in the Swift R2, providing greater comfort when speeding through complex terrain and climbing angled hills.

Brilliant shoes.
They are the only walking shoes that I can wear to death and the tread wears out before the shoe falls apart... I cannot say the same for any other brand of similar shoe I have tried.
For the training I do, these are ideal.

Great Adidas shoe, good fit and strong sole. This shoe has hardly any cushioning and is a real "hike shoe" for harder surfaces. I have kept the fit that I have of any Adidas shoes

Small sizes

The quality of the shoe is excellent, and what you would expect from Adidas. I would have given them a 5 star rating, but an unfortunate issue with these shoes, is that they are a small fit. I bought a UK size 9, and they are slightly too small, more like an 8.5. So I recommend buying a half size bigger. I’m gutted, and can’t return them, as I have worn them once. Would be a good idea to advise customers to buy a half size bigger to avoid disappointment.

They are the third pair that I buy, the previous two with a gorotex membrane, the sole is of a high quality, what I do not like is that the design of the laces rub against the fabric of the shoe and over time cracks the fabric because of the friction of opening and closing the laces.

Strong and sturdy shoe. Relatively hard sole for those who prefer that. Not very flexible. I use it mainly on colder and rainy days. Give pretty good water protection despite not being gortex. The lacing system is very comfortable. I previously bought another pair, but it was the wrong size. I gave them to a relative and he is very pleased with them as well.
