the color is milky white, the chest, sides, shoulders, kidneys are protected by a membrane and a light insulation, the back is only a heater (very thin, mesh) for which weather it is not clear, the membrane absorbs water well. The size according to the table for my M (102 cm chest) took XL according to the Gore table. women's also according to the GORE table
