The Höner 42L backpack is made for alpine and high performance mountaineering, a perfect backpack for multi-day missions. It is made from our proprietary 210 Denier Retina® fabric which keeps the weight of the backpack down. The bottom front is reinforced with Hardur® fabric to add durability for carrying ice axes and crampons. The top lid gives extra water protection while it also functions as a 3-point rope attachment and for compression. The Höner backpack sits close to the body with ventilated shoulder straps. The backpack is also prepared for a hydration system.

Plus: backpack (42 l variant) is very high quality, top material and well thought-out details. The color is not completely black, but a dark gray, I like that even better :-). Closing and opening the lacing very easy + fast :-) !! Hip belt easily adjustable and with metal buckle, very easy to open. Chest strap very light, elastic and adjustable in stages, so it does not slip up on its own as with some infinitely adjustable ("sliders"). Otherwise highly adjustable, lightweight but not fiddly or collapsing when empty. The 42l version should be enough for me (1.93 m, 88 kg, fit) for a week of hiking/mountain climbing with a light pack. Will be shown in August '22 in the Berchtesgaden Alps ...:-). Minus: does not have a lid pocket accessible from the outside, only a small one accessible from the inside. No other outer pockets either. And ... the price hurts!

I've own and tried many backpacks and so far this is the best, the fabric/webbing used, super light, the ergonomic, the locking and attach mechanism are perfect!...
