Merrell Moab 2 Goretex Hiking Shoes are prepared to face your mountain routes in any weather conditions since they provide impermeability, breathability, comfort, stability, cushioning, and excellent grip against different types of terrains.

These hiking shoes have the Vibram TC5+ sole, which is one of the most non-slip, durable, and with a better grip that makes it ideal for smooth, rocky, dusty, or wet surfaces. The EVA midsole gives cushioning and stability in each step, while the Merrell Air Cushion technology increases softness and reduces the sensation of impacts in the heel.

The Goretex membrane is responsible for repelling water from rain and puddles, as well as absorbing moisture and keeping the foot dry at all times. These trekking shoes come with synthetic leather and mesh upper that provides durability and breathability.

Bought this shoe. The parcel arrived quickly. The Trekk Inn team works competently and efficiently, for which she gets 10 points. The shoes I received were a little disappointing. In addition to the declared advantages, it has one significant drawback. Having received the shoes, I decided to test them out during a light rain. The sole slips heavily on wet surfaces (especially on wet paving concrete and granite slabs). I would not recommend using it while traveling, you can fall and be seriously injured !!! I'm not talking about the fact that in addition to wet stones, it will be dangerous to use it while traveling when ice appears. Already had a few pairs of casual shoes from Merrell. Recently I was looking for decent waterproof walking shoes. Unfortunately, there are no dealers in the area so therefore ordered via trekkinn Moab 2 GTX (goretex = waterproof) via the internet. Shoe had good reviews elsewhere so it had to be good. Trekkinn web shop is unfortunately not yet well known in NL. Still ordered and paid with Paypal (because of buyer protection) I immediately ordered 2 sizes so I could keep the best fit. The other pair after passes sent back via the Trekkinn return service. The return service unfortunately costs 9.95 euros. But you can reclaim the return costs via Paypal. Point of improvement: offer free return service. Anno 2019 the standard and therefore very desirable.

Good shoe, but the sole has changed, it has become harder than before, so only four stars.

I have the previous version without GoreTex, and it served me very well climbing a few mountains, highest being Mount Fuji. The shoes offered great comfort and good grip. I'm sure this revised version is only going to be even better!

Use it for work, walk 65 hours a week, excellent! Must buy new once a year because then the sole always leaves. But find this shoe so super that I have been running on Merrels for 6 years.
