It has not yet been tested under very harsh conditions but the jacket exudes quality and has a great calorific value. I would definitely recommend it for its value for money.

Very high quality performance. Lightweight and warm. The exterior is modern for both the mountains and the city. Comfortable to wear. Warmly. Thoughtful system of hood and pockets. Size for 184cm height and 85kg weight -XL is perfect. Impressions are excellent. Recommend. Escort, delivery - excellent!

A lot of comparative research went into this purchase. For this price range and even higher this jacket has the most insulation. Insanely warm and quality construction. The fit feels like a dream, the upper section hugs the lower neck area in a way I've never seen in other jackets. Two un-listed features: the hood rolls down and can be secured with the hood cinch and there is fleece lining on the inside of the face guard which is very nice. If you're a used to jackets for the US market, note the zipper is Euro aka on the opposite side. Somewhat of a parka fit, the waist line is lower than other jackets I've had. I am a slender 5'7" and the small is slightly big but still works. Great price from this website with reasonable shipping cost to California. My first Montane product, I'm impressed.
