Quality, lightness (81gr x2). In use remains to be seen the abrasion resistance of the fluorescent strap. Fitting size 42, I chose size L / XL. The gaiter perfectly covers the top of the shoe and attaches to the first loop of the laces, the strap remaining positioned near the heel. Perfect ! The smaller size would certainly have been too tight.

My feet were dry and no twigs or tree needles were able to get in my boot. Great fit and great coverage!

I just got these and have not tried them out yet, but I love the design. I have had other OR gaiters that I have used on several long distance hikes from 20 miles to 200. They have been by far the most durable of any gaiters I have had. These seem to be more flexible than the last pair and have a draw string at the top which is really great for keeping them snug around your ankles. The material seems like it will be more breathable which is also nice for keeping your feet cool. I can´t stand a gaiter that does not open from the front so these were a must have for me. The boot strap is also very very rugged and should last a very long time. I plan to give them a test on the JMT this summer.
