Ergonomic, ultra-powerful and rechargeable headlamp featuring REACTIVE LIGHTING® technology. 1500 lumens

Iconic for trails and ultra-running! The NAO® RL rechargeable headlamp provides 1500 lumens of brightness and weighs just 145 grams. Comfortably balanced, the headband is easily adjustable and maintains excellent support throughout long and committing races. With REACTIVE LIGHTING® technology, the brightness automatically adapts to the ambient light. Manual operations are reduced and burn time is optimized. Additionally, red lighting at the rear of the headlamp allows you to remain visible at night.

Great Headtorch

Great Headtorch - though it fits your head but the strap isn't long enough to fit on my ski helmet.

It looks and feels robust and professional. It is such a well-designed headlamp, easily rechargeable, and I like the fact that the battery can be used as a power bank to charge other devices. Although it's pricey, I feel it's worth the money if you plan to run ultra races and train in the dark hours.

Very comfortable when running, you don't feel it will flung out or out of position in the run. Definitely heat management is good especially after a long 2hrs run. Battery lifetime is very long as mentioned.

Petzl nao rl

The previous Petzl Tikka RXP had a wide beam module and an independent long-range, focused beam switched on by the RL. In the NAO RL model there is no such division of beams. RL works great and lights up the whole space in front of us. Looking towards the light, you can not notice that the headlamp is on, turning your head towards the unlit side, the headlamp illuminates the entire space. Great equipment.

Amazingly light and well designed headlamp. Adjusting to any head size or shape is super easy. Light quality is incredible with the reactive lighting being very responsive to changing conditions. The red tail light with strobe or steady light is great - very visible and meets the needs of ultra races that require a tail light. Amazingly lightweight and well designed headlamp. The back red light with strobe or continuous light is great - highly visible and ticks the box for ultras requiring a rear light. Highly recommended!

Excellent for running

Hi Highly recommend this for running in wet difficult conditions, here on wet, damp Irish countryside roads lights power really a greats bonus plus you have great feeling of safety as cars take better note of you at night.

Battery charge

Hello, Negative, the battery does not allow it to be connected to both the lamp and a power bank. Personally I bought a second battery for safety. And on a race this summer the battery allowed me to last almost all night (battery change around 4:30 a.m.). And note that the battery can be used to recharge your watch or a phone for example (like a mini power bank). In any case, in terms of lighting, this lamp is really great! Good day.

No lamp is waterproof, but this lamp has a high level of water resistance and capable being used in wet conditions but not capable of being submersed As always, it has a lot to do with how well you look after your gear
