It was a set with a carabiner

I didn't know it was a set with a carabiner, so I ordered a carabiner as well. I had one left over, but it was in demand and I was able to dispose of it immediately. Compact and easy to use.
Remarkable belay device

If need a device for one rope length only this is for me the best, a little better than BD Pilot ATC. Why? Because during my testing of both devices the brake was better and also rapelling little more control. Both Pilot and Ergo get some issues in giving more rope to lead. But this device cannot be used for big walls and also is only for one rope. Overall is great choice on a great price and must be in your consideration. The carabiner is also great, a twist very easy to work with. But if need something for double ropes and/or big wall better look for Smart Alpine or Alpine up, both have even better brake and rapelling control. These are my findings using a 10.5 mm static rope.

After trying several different belay device, this is not the most advanced product but its definitely suit every scenarios. There are many other products saying they could use in 11mm rope but it stuck most of the time, this Ergo by Salewa truly, feed and tight the rope really well! A big recommendations to those who want a nice belay system that can be used in gym and outdoor.
