From the very first cast, you will feel the exceptional balance and responsiveness that sets this rod apart. Its remarkably slim and lightweight blank design allows for effortless handling and reduces fatigue during long, intensive fishing sessions. This allows you to maintain focus and react instantly when a bite occurs. The rod’s fast action is meticulously tuned for casting wagglers and other floats with pinpoint accuracy, enabling you to consistently hit your mark and present your bait perfectly in the feeding zone. Experience the thrill of sending your float soaring to distant swims with minimal effort, achieving distances you may have previously thought were out of reach.

Sensitivity is paramount in match fishing, and the Iconic2 Match excels in this critical area. The construction of the rod is optimized to transmit every subtle indication, from the most delicate plucks of a shy-biting roach to the confident take of a tench. This incredible feedback ensures you can read what is happening below the surface and set the hook with decisive speed and precision. You will never again have to second-guess a potential bite.

When the fight is on, the DAM Iconic2 Match Rod truly comes alive. It possesses a beautifully progressive fish-playing action that provides the necessary cushioning to protect light hooklengths and prevent hook pulls, giving you the confidence to play fish delicately. Yet, it holds a surprising reserve of power in its lower section, providing the backbone needed to control larger bonus fish like bream or small carp and guide them safely to the net. This perfect synthesis of finesse and power makes it an incredibly versatile instrument, capable of handling a wide variety of situations and target species.

Finished with a modern, understated aesthetic, the rod features a thoughtfully designed handle for superior comfort and a secure grip in all conditions. The high-quality, low-friction guides are strategically placed to optimize line flow, further enhancing casting performance and ensuring durability for seasons of reliable use.
