Mikado Douglas Method XL feeder

MIKADO Douglas Method XL Feeder (80g)

Elevate your method feeder fishing to a professional level with the MIKADO Douglas Method XL Feeder. Expertly engineered for the modern coarse angler who demands precision, power, and adaptability, this feeder is a masterclass in bait presentation and long-range performance. Designed as a key component of the innovative MIKADO fishing system, it provides an unparalleled advantage on any water, from large commercial fisheries to vast natural reservoirs.

The "XL" designation signifies its generous bait capacity, allowing you to deliver a substantial and highly attractive bed of groundbait or pellets exactly where you need it. This larger payload is perfect for establishing a compelling feeding zone quickly, drawing in and holding larger, more cautious specimens like carp, bream, and tench. The meticulously designed frame with strategically placed ribs ensures your bait mix is held securely during the most powerful casts and upon impact with the water, only releasing once it has settled on the bottom. This guarantees a perfect "dinner plate" presentation every time, with your hookbait positioned enticingly in the centre of the free offerings.

Engineered for superior casting, the Douglas Method XL Feeder boasts an aerodynamic, weight-forward profile. This design cuts through the air with minimal resistance, enabling you to achieve remarkable distance and accuracy, even in challenging crosswinds. The 80g weight provides excellent stability in flight and ensures the feeder anchors firmly to the lakebed, preventing it from being moved by undertow or on sloping underwater features. This stability is crucial for maintaining tight lines and detecting the most subtle of bites.

The true genius of this feeder lies in its full integration with the revolutionary MIKADO Quick Method Feeder (Q.M.F.) system. It has been designed to be compatible with the QMF tube, which will allow you to quickly change the weight or fishing technique without ever having to break down your entire rig. This on-the-fly adaptability is a game-changer, enabling you to respond instantly to changing conditions. If the wind picks up or you need to cast further, you can switch to a heavier feeder in seconds. This seamless versatility also makes it a fantastic tool for diverse tactics; its weight is perfectly adapted to the Feeder Bomb technique, allowing you to lay down a carpet of bait with precision before fishing over the top.

The MIKADO Douglas Method XL Feeder is more than just a piece of terminal tackle; it´s a sophisticated tool designed to give you the ultimate control over your baiting strategy and help you put more fish on the bank.
