MIKADO S17-4035-120 Keepnet - 120cm Rectangular Fish-Friendly Net

Ensure the optimal safety and well-being of your catch with the MIKADO S17-4035-120 Keepnet. Designed for the discerning angler who prioritizes fish care and performance, this professional-grade keepnet is an indispensable piece of fishing equipment for match, coarse, and pleasure fishing sessions. It combines robust construction with a fish-friendly design, making it a reliable choice for holding your catch securely and humanely.

The standout feature of this keepnet is its intelligent and practical design, engineered for rapid deployment and stability. A popular type of mesh, topped with metal hoops, which add additional load to it, allowing the mesh to sink faster. This crucial feature ensures the net extends to its full length quickly upon entering the water, creating a spacious and low-stress environment for the fish immediately. The weighted hoops anchor the net securely on the bottom, preventing it from being shifted by underwater currents or surface wind, which is vital for keeping the fish calm and safe.

Crafted for durability and functionality, the MIKADO S17-4035-120 boasts a versatile rectangular profile. This shape is perfectly suited for a wide range of fishing venues, from the tight pegs of commercial fisheries to the sloping banks of rivers and canals. The main body is constructed from a soft, fine-gauge mesh that is specifically chosen to be gentle on fish scales, fins, and protective slime layers. This minimizes the risk of injury and stress, allowing you to return your catch in prime condition. The excellent water flow through the mesh also ensures a constant supply of fresh, oxygenated water.

As one of the most essential keeping nets for anglers who need to retain fish safely before weighing and release, this model includes a robust top ring and a secure attachment system. The standard threaded block allows for easy and solid connection to any bankstick or seatbox arm, while an adjustable angle lock enables you to position the net perfectly for convenient and efficient fish transfer from your landing net. The MIKADO S17-4035-120 is a testament to practical design, offering the perfect balance of strength, fish safety, and ease of use for any serious angler.
