MIKADO Ultraviolet 2 Coup Rod - 600cm

Unleash your full potential on the water with the MIKADO Ultraviolet 2 Coup Rod, an elite-level fishing pole engineered for the discerning professional angler. This rod is the next evolution in the celebrated Ultraviolet series, taking the reliability and performance you trust and elevating it to new heights. Designed for competitive fishing where every second and every fish counts, the Ultraviolet 2 is your key to reaching the top of the podium.

Experience the pinnacle of comfort and control during demanding, multi-hour long sessions. The core philosophy behind the Ultraviolet 2 is its exceptional lightness and perfect balance. At an astonishingly low weight of just 210 grams for its full 600 cm length, this pole feels like a natural extension of your arm, not a burden. This impeccable weight distribution drastically reduces angler fatigue, allowing you to maintain focus, precision, and a swift response from the first cast to the last. Even after hours of holding the pole, its balance ensures your session remains a pure pleasure.

Built upon a legacy of trust, this second-generation pole is engineered for supreme resilience and strength. The blank is constructed from high-modulus 36T carbon fibre, a material renowned for its incredible stiffness-to-weight ratio. This results in a rod that is not only featherlight but also exceptionally strong and durable, giving you the confidence to handle spirited fights and control larger fish with authority. The stiff, fast action of the blank provides a direct connection to your rig, transmitting even the most subtle bites with crystal-clear sensitivity and enabling lightning-fast, decisive hook sets.

The MIKADO Ultraviolet 2 is a testament to precision engineering, designed for anglers who refuse to compromise. Its practical design includes a 6-section telescopic construction that extends smoothly to a full 6 metres, providing the reach needed for effective bait presentation in a variety of situations. When the session is over, it collapses down to a convenient transport length of 127 cm, making it easy to carry to your peg and store securely.

Yet another version of reliable Ultraviolet poles. Very light and resilient blanks, made of 36T carbon fibre, designed for professional anglers. Perfectly balanced weight makes even multi-hour long sessions a pure pleasure.

If you are a serious coup or match angler looking to gain a competitive edge, the MIKADO Ultraviolet 2 Coup Rod is the definitive choice. It’s more than just a fishing rod; it’s a high-performance instrument built for victory.
