Plastimo Extra straight connector 16 mm

PLASTIMO Extra Male Straight Connector 3/4" x 16 mm

Ensure the absolute integrity and long-term reliability of your vessel´s plumbing system with the PLASTIMO Extra Male Straight Connector. Designed specifically for the demanding marine environment, this essential component provides a secure, leak-proof link in your boat´s plumbing network, giving you peace of mind whether you are moored at the dock or navigating the open water. It is a vital part of the Boats and equipment, and a cornerstone of any robust Plumbing setup.

This high-performance fitting is engineered for durability and superior performance. Its primary benefit lies in its exceptional resistance to the harsh conditions found at sea. Crafted from solid, corrosion-resistant BRASS, this connector is built to withstand the constant exposure to saltwater, humidity, and temperature fluctuations that cause inferior materials to degrade and fail. This robust construction ensures a long service life, reducing the need for frequent replacements and protecting your vessel from the potential damage caused by plumbing failures.

The design of this connector is focused on creating the most secure connection possible. It is a straight hose male connector, ribbed and threaded. The ribbed, or barbed, hose tail is meticulously engineered to grip the interior of a 16 mm hose, creating a formidable mechanical lock that prevents the hose from slipping off, even when subjected to system pressure, engine vibration, and the vessel´s movement. On the opposite end, the precision-cut 3/4 inch male thread provides a tight, secure, and watertight seal when screwed into a corresponding female fitting, ensuring a leak-free junction. These high-quality Connectors are a must-have for any serious boater.

Installation is straightforward for both professional marine technicians and experienced boat owners. Its standardized dimensions allow for seamless integration into new or existing plumbing systems, making it an ideal choice for upgrades, repairs, or new builds. Whether you are connecting lines for a bilge pump, a fresh water system, a sea water intake, or a deck wash, this PLASTIMO connector delivers the reliability you need.
