A specific engineering process provides a better hold of the galvanisation on the metal, to ensure a longer lifetime.

Hot dip galvanisation is engineered with zinc.

There may be cases where a marina would be unusually exposed to galvanic currents which could generate a chain deterioration.

In such cases, we recommend to use mooring anodes (ref. 38266. 38267), which will protect both the chain and the metallic parts of the boat.
