Rockford Fosgate PMX-8BB Black Box Digital Media Receiver

Experience the ultimate command center for your marine or powersports audio system with the Rockford Fosgate PMX-8BB. This hide-away digital media receiver is the powerful brain behind your sound, designed to be tucked away in a dry, secure location while providing complete control through a compatible Rockford Fosgate display controller. Engineered for those who demand superior audio quality and robust functionality in the harshest environments, the PMX-8BB delivers unparalleled performance and integration, making it the definitive choice for any high-end vessel or off-road vehicle installation.

The core benefit of the PMX-8BB lies in its incredible flexibility and power. By separating the main unit from the controller, you protect the critical electronics from direct exposure to water, sun, and salt, ensuring long-term reliability. This design allows for a clean, streamlined dash with only a compact, waterproof controller visible. Take full command of your audio experience with four distinct zones of output, each with independent volume control, allowing you to create the perfect sound environment in the cabin, on the deck, and at the tower simultaneously.

Unmatched Audio Control and Connectivity

The PMX-8BB is a feature-rich hub that connects all your favorite media sources. Stream high-fidelity audio wirelessly with built-in Bluetooth connectivity, or take direct control of your Pandora music library. It is also SiriusXM-Ready®, giving you access to over 150 channels of music, sports, and entertainment with an optional tuner and subscription. The unit includes a global AM/FM/WB tuner, a rear USB port for charging and playback from your devices, and an auxiliary input for any other audio source.

Seamless Integration and Rugged Design

Built for the modern marine environment, the PMX-8BB features NMEA 2000® compatibility, allowing it to interface directly with your vessel´s multi-function displays from brands like Lowrance, Simrad, and Garmin. This integration provides a centralized control point for your audio right on your primary navigation screen. The unit itself is housed in an IPX6-rated, element-ready chassis, protecting it from water intrusion and corrosion, while its companion controllers are designed to withstand intense sun and spray.
