SIERRA Tip Lit Toggle Switch 11-TG40330 | Dual-Color Illuminated Marine Switch

Upgrade your electrical control panel with the superior visibility, durability, and reliability of the SIERRA Tip Lit Toggle Switch 11-TG40330. As a premier product in the Electronics and Electrical connections category, this switch is meticulously engineered by Sierra, a trusted leader in marine-grade components, to deliver exceptional performance in the most demanding environments. Whether you are outfitting a boat, upgrading an RV, or building a custom vehicle dashboard, this switch provides an intuitive and safe user experience combined with long-lasting construction.

The standout benefit of this toggle switch is its innovative illumination system. The handle itself lights through the tip, providing a clear, unmistakable visual cue of its status, even in complete darkness or bright sunlight. This advanced feature significantly enhances safety and operational efficiency. The switch illuminates white when panel lights are ON, indicating it is powered and ready for use. When activated, the tip instantly changes to red when the switch is ON, offering immediate, at-a-glance confirmation that the connected circuit is active. This dual-color feedback system eliminates guesswork and prevents accidental operation of critical systems like bilge pumps, navigation lights, or accessories.

Engineered for longevity, the switch boasts a robust, non-corrosive plastic construction. This high-impact material is impervious to rust, moisture, and saltwater spray, making it the ideal choice for marine applications, off-road vehicles, and any installation exposed to the elements. Its resilience ensures that the switch maintains its structural integrity and aesthetic appeal over years of use, preventing the cracking and degradation common in lesser-quality components. Internally, performance is guaranteed by high-quality electrical components. The switch features brass blade terminals for a secure and stable connection, paired with premium silver contacts. Silver is an excellent conductor that resists electrical arcing and corrosion, ensuring a reliable flow of power and extending the operational life of the switch.

This versatile switch is rated for demanding loads, handling up to 20 amps at 12 VDC, making it suitable for a wide range of high-draw accessories. Installation is straightforward and secure, thanks to a standard 15/32´´ L x 15/32´´ -32 mounting stem that fits most conventional panel cutouts. For applications requiring momentary action, this model offers added functionality; as noted in the specifications, an On in parenthesis (On) indicates a momentary position, allowing for "press-and-hold" operations for horns, starters, or winches.
