I have just sailed from Sønderborg to Bågø/Denmark in fresh to strong winds with the TP32 at the helm in a 30" boat, with the tiller pilot following the compass direction. It was very reliable, the sails did not flap and the power consumption was very low. Am very happy with the TP32!

Hello, I would like to know if this product is sold with the "plug" connection which is fixed to the boat or what accessory should I order to connect it to the battery? Thank you Mario

It comes with a type of wall socket that you can screw into somewhere near where the autopilot is going to be. You then plug in the cable from the autopilot, which is maybe a meter long. On the back of the wall socket there are a bunch of cables, two of which are to be connected to the battery. So all you need to do is extend these so that they reach the battery.

The TP32 is sold with the plug and the cables needed for its connection. But to add the remote controls (AP24 or 28 or wired HR22) you have to create a Simnet network. Provide a Simnet Tjoiner if you have to connect several Simnet cables. The SimNet/Micro-c adapter cable reference: 24005729 allows connection to the nmea 2000 network and to use the BlueTooth WR10 remote control. With the nmea 2000 I was able to connect the Steady Cast Garmin gyro-compass which significantly improved the heading stability downwind with rough seas.

No, the kit does not include a Simrad electrical connection. Just connect the two wires available on the + and - of the 12 V circuit. There is therefore nothing special to plan.

The Simrad TP32 works perfectly on my Adams 31, as this model tiller pilot is designed for boats up to 36ft, this device gives me more power and hard over speed than any other Simrad or raymarine autopilot. I am also impressed with the competitive price and service from waveinn as the product arrived at my front door (in Australia) exactly when they said it would (even though this is the busy Christmas period).
