SPRO Iris The Frog 150 mm soft lure

SPRO Iris The Frog 150 mm Soft Lure

Unleash the ultimate predator-triggering power with the SPRO Iris The Frog 150 mm soft lure, a masterclass in realistic bait design. Engineered for anglers who demand lifelike presentation and explosive strikes, this lure is a must-have in the arsenal of any serious predator hunter targeting trophy-sized fish. The Iris The Frog is not just another soft lure; it´s a meticulously crafted, hyper-realistic imitation of a real frog, designed to fool even the most cautious pike, zander, and large bass.

The standout benefit of the Iris The Frog lies in its incredibly seductive action. Made from a durable yet supple soft material, this lure comes to life with the slightest movement of your rod tip. On a very slow retrieve, the specially designed legs of the frog will already start to paddle and kick, creating subtle vibrations and a visual profile that perfectly mimics a vulnerable frog swimming through the water. This slow-speed action is a game-changer, allowing you to methodically work through key strike zones and entice passive predators into committing to a strike.

Rigging perfection is made simple and precise thanks to the thoughtful design features. The hook size indicators on the back make rigging very easy and take the guesswork out of achieving the perfect presentation every time. For open water applications or when you need to get down to a specific depth, the Iris The Frog pairs flawlessly with our SPRO Jigheads in sizes 6/0 or 8/0. On top of that, this versatile frog imitation is perfect to fish with bigger Gamakatsu Offset or Wormhooks. Rigged weedless on an offset hook, it becomes a formidable tool for fishing over lily pads, through grass, and around heavy cover where monster predators love to ambush their prey, without the fear of snagging.

This 101-150 mm class lure has the ideal profile and weight to attract larger predators, making it a go-to choice for anglers seeking a new personal best. Its substantial body moves a significant amount of water, ensuring it gets noticed from a distance.
