VDO Oil pressure sensor with alarm

VDO Oil Pressure Sensor with Integrated Alarm – Essential Protection for Your Marine Engine

Ensure the heart of your vessel operates with uncompromised safety and reliability with the VDO Oil Pressure Sensor featuring an integrated alarm contact. As a crucial component for any boat´s motor, this sensor provides a dual-layer of security, offering both continuous monitoring and an immediate alert in the event of a critical drop in oil pressure. Designed by VDO, a world-renowned leader in marine and automotive instrumentation, this sensor is engineered to deliver the precision and durability required to withstand the harsh marine environment.

Experience the ultimate peace of mind on the water. This innovative sensor performs two vital functions simultaneously. First, it acts as a variable sender, delivering precise, real-time oil pressure data to your helm´s gauge. This allows you to monitor your engine´s health constantly, observing normal operating ranges and noticing gradual changes that might indicate a developing issue. Second, and most critically, it features a dedicated, independent alarm switch. If the oil pressure falls below a predetermined safe level, this switch is instantly triggered, activating a warning light or buzzer on your dashboard. This instantaneous alert system is your first and best defense against catastrophic engine damage, giving you the crucial moments needed to shut down the engine and prevent a minor issue from becoming a costly, trip-ending failure.

Built for the demanding conditions of marine use, the VDO oil pressure sensor is your reliable sentinel. It offers unparalleled accuracy, ensuring the readings on your gauge are a true reflection of your engine´s internal state. This level of precision is vital for proper diagnostics and preventative maintenance. The integrated alarm function eliminates the need for a separate pressure switch, simplifying installation and reducing potential points of failure in your engine´s monitoring system. It´s an elegant, two-in-one solution that enhances safety without cluttering your engine bay.

This sensor is the ideal upgrade or replacement part for a wide range of inboard engines, auxiliary motors on sailboats, and powerboats of all sizes. By providing an early warning against oil starvation—a leading cause of severe damage like bearing failure and seizure—you are not just buying a part; you are investing in the longevity of your motor and the safety of everyone on board. Don´t leave your engine´s health to chance. Trust the OEM-quality and proven performance of VDO to keep watch. Upgrade to the VDO Oil Pressure Sensor with Alarm and gain the confidence that comes from knowing your engine is protected by the best in the business
