This tire could be said to be military standard: fast and resistant to anything, I weigh 96kgs and add almost 10kgs extra to the bicycle in bikepacking mode. I´ve used many models and brands of tires. I´ve used Bontrager R1/R2/R3, used Pirelli P Zero, Vittoria Rubino Pro (almost all Grapheno models) until I got to Continental Gatorskin…today, I don´t change models anymore. It is really very resistant and hardly gets punctured, in addition to lasting a LONG time. In addition, it has good reinforcement on the side and tread. It´s a slightly harder tire, yes, maybe it´s not the lightest, but for MY taste, it´s the best model I´ve used. I don´t like being surprised by unwanted punctures in road training, much less in competitions like L´etape Brasil. You can buy without fear! That´s because I don´t even use its Tubeless technology. Use with camera and anti-puncture tape. That is, to improve weight and running.
