Hello, your product is excellent and I'm very happy with it. I'd been looking for one for a long time. However, you should review the mounting system. I had to use plastic cable ties to attach it to the rack. The elastic Velcro system isn't very reliable. You should consider a different attachment method. I can send you a photo of what I did if you'd like. Despite this minor issue, I'm very, very pleased with it.

Brilliant bit of kit for commuting. I modified the hooks at the top, as they did fit snuggly enough on my rack, and I anticipate needing to replace the strap at some point, depending on how it wears, but overall a really great product that solved my problem.

French Horn transport

We bought this about 18 months ago to transport my son's French Horn (in a large case) on the school run. As a general principle it works really well - we have had to replace all the straps though as they were very insecure. The elastic clip around the middle was never snug (too stretchy perhaps) so we have replaced it with a long double piece of velcro which holds the horn quite snugly. The small straps which held it to the pannier rack were also not secure enough - the velcro length was too short and not fierce enough so we have swapped them for some long velcro cable wraps - they secure to the hook and then we wrap them round the pannier rack. We have also added a stretchy web which covers the horn and connects to various mounting points on hook and bike, for extra security. 1* off for the weak fixings but a strong thumbs up for the hook in general.

I can now hang a large bag or a backpack on my luggage carrier. I do use an extra tension strap, because the bicycle strap is a bit too loose. easy to put on and take off and my bag stays in place. Am happy with it.

I haven´t found any information either. I wouldn´t load it with more than 15 kg. It also depends on the load capacity of the luggage rack, which usually doesn´t exceed a total of 18 kg. So, no more than 9 kg for one side. You should also consider the total weight of the rider, bike, and cargo.
