I have always used Recon Race 2.35 front 2.25 rear. They give a lot of safety even on wet rocks or counter-slopes, with the right pressure you can go anywhere.

High quality tyres, they are very versatile, even with the installation on the front I have immense confidence when cornering. They roll very well and made the bike more comfortable than previous Crossmark IIs. I haven't had any holes or tears so far. Highly recommendable.

I take it on a hardtail, in 29x2.25 it gives a good ball and it seems sufficient to me, the same front but in 2.35, I usually do quite technical trails and I have enough grip within the little grip that there is in my area (Mediterranean).
